The Chinquapin Outhouse Race! 3.21.2025

Mike Jameyson jumpstarted our first neighborhood participation in the Outhouse Race held at Sapphire Valley Ski Slope in February. This yearly event is a fundraiser for the Cashiers Valley Rotary Club which distributes funds to various local charitable organizations. This year, a part of the funds is earmarked for Helene relief. Chinquapin owners submitted their outhouse name ideas on the owner WhatsApp; Loo With a View was picked.

Outhouse rental, refurbishment, bear costumes, pusher & potty sitter recruitment! Thanks to Diane & Greg Pullen, Mike, and his son-in-law for the lion's share of the work.
